A lot of people don't think about their barn or workshop electrical setup until something goes wrong. A tripped breaker mid-cut, a piece of equipment acting up, tools that just won't perform right. That's usually the point where we get the call - and honestly, it's the right call to make.

This one was a full 200 amp panel and service installation for a barn and workshop setup. That's a serious amount of capacity, and it's exactly what a working shop needs. Running power tools, compressors, welders, lighting - all of it draws load. An undersized or outdated setup can't keep up with that, and it creates real risk over time.

We also included surge protection as part of this install. That's something we always recommend for shops and outbuildings. A power surge doesn't need to be dramatic to do damage. Even smaller fluctuations can shorten the life of motors, electronics, and sensitive equipment. Surge protection is cheap insurance compared to replacing gear.

The work is clean, the panel has plenty of room to grow, and the whole setup is built to handle real daily use. Good electrical work in a workshop isn't just about convenience - it's about making sure the space is safe and reliable from the first day you flip that breaker.

If you've got a shop, barn, or outbuilding that needs proper electrical service, this is the kind of work we do. A panel upgrade done right sets the foundation for everything else in that space.
